The Farm is situated on 125 acres in the heart of the Haliburton Highlands and offers unlimited kilometers of trails. The Farm is your all-season place for everything "horse" in the near north!

With over 35 years in the horse industry, Lorrie McCauley has owned and operated The Farm for over 20 years.



In addition to being an accredited member in good standing with Equine Canada, the Ontario Equestrian Federation, Haliburton Chamber of Commerce, and the O.E.F Horse Facilities Advisory Council, Lorrie spent many successful years competing in both English and Western events and has tremendous experience in the training world with both styles of riding.

Lorrie and her dedicated staff enjoy sharing knowledge and love of everything equine.

Horseback riding is an excellent way to get exercise as well as a special and direct way to experience the natural landscape first-hand. Incredible rocky outcroppings, ponds, beaver dams, rivers and stream, rugged hills and gorgeous scenery are part of the trails that are owned by, and connected to The Farm. We also offer a large outdoor riding ring, an indoor riding arena, and also a round pen for training purposes.

All horses are well trained and calm. They are appropriate for beginner riders, as well as advanced or more experienced equestrians.
